I think every writer has that feeling of amazement when holding a copy of a new book and saying, "This book is mine! I wrote this!" I feel proud and blessed to make my dreams as a writer come true.  I have five books of poetry, and a short fiction collection, The Plague Confessor .  Four of my poetry books, Dear Deepest Ghost, This Scarlet Dancing, Night's Island, and Pretty Green Thorns , and my short fiction collection, The Plague Confessor , have all been published by Emu Books.  They are available at my website and online bookstore. Meg Smith is a writer, journalist, dancer and events producer living in Lowell, Mass. She welcomes visits to  megsmithwriter.com .
